Low return on your savings? Buying and financing an investment property is also an option!

Expat Mortgages is introducing a new brand, Expat Buy2Let.
A Buy2Let mortgage is intended specifically for someone who wants to buy residential property to rent out. For expats who have the financial means, it’s a great way to invest their savings and enjoy extra, tax-free income.
If you’re able to make a deposit of 25-30% it’s possible to get a loan.
Interest rates are approximately 1% higher compared to an owner occupied mortgage.
The interest paid on the loan is not tax deductible. The good news is that your rental income is tax free!
The equity (the property value minus the balance of the mortgage) will be taxed in box III.

There are three simple questions that will determine your eligibility for a Buy2Let mortgage:

Do you live in The Netherlands?
Do you have a BSN number?
Are you paying tax in The Netherlands?

If you can answer all three questions with a ‘yes’, we can set up a meeting to discuss the possibilities!
